Your Best Is Enough
Every day for me starts the same. I get up, feed my dog, make coffee, take the long commute down the hallway to my office, sit down at my desk, and stare at my computer.
Some days, I immediately respond to emails, approve pending requests, and read through my Slack messages in record time. Other days, I don’t get past the staring at my computer part until I’ve finished at least one cup of coffee. Sometimes two.
Every day I show up and do my best and that’s all I can do. My best is going to look different every day. It changes depending on how well I slept, what I ate, how I feel, what happened yesterday, who in my life is happy, who is hurting, what is going on in the world, and so many other things.
It’s okay if your best looks different every day.
